Since China implemented the policy of reform and opening to the outside world, China’s rural areas have undergone great changes. So far as economic restructuring is concerned, the current contract responsibility system replaces the original people’s commune system. So far as political system is concerned, the various civil organizations begin to emerge and the villagers’ self-governing system based on civil organizations is gradually implemented.
In this research, the author takes Dongsheng Village, Changqiao Town, Zhangpu County, Fujian Province as a case and carries out research on the development of rural civil organizations and their influence on changes in rural governance
