In analysing the Ghanaian general elections of 7 December 2012, this study portrays the context and conditions of the practice - rather than the elaboration - of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana by identifying effective regulations through the norms, values and authorities involved, as well as the synergies between these different elements.

This study is part of a series of case studies realised by associated experts in the framework of the International Network for Reflection and Proposals on a Plural Approach for Constitutions’ (INC) work and analyses, initiated by the Institute for Research and Debate on Governance (IRG).
