This study focuses on the Egyptian constitutional process which was held after the change of regime following the 2011 revolution. It analyses the capacity of the constitutional process to embrace and articulate the embedded and distinctive social, political and religious pluralisms of the Egyptian society so as to strengthen national cohesion.

This study is part of a series of case studies realised by associated experts in the framework of the International Network for Reflection and Proposals on a Plural Approach for Constitutions’ (INC) work and analyses, initiated by the Institute for Research and Debate on Governance (IRG).
